Sir Emeka Offor Foundation (SEOF) Empowers The Youth

As part of its commitment to youth empowerment, Sir Emeka Offor Foundation (SEOF) in collaboration with Oraifite Improvement Union (O.I.U) has embarked on a skills acquisition programme for young people in Oraifite and its environs.

The youths in this first phase will be trained on skills of their choice, selected from an array of subjects.
The subjects include catering, carpentry, hairdressing, plumbing, welding, masonry, automobile repairs (mechanic), tiling, paint making & painting, generator repairs, tailoring, aluminum works, electronics and phone repairs.
The training is to last for three (3) to six (6) month depending on the chosen discipline. SEOF for the duration of the training will assist the trainees with monthly stipends.
At the end of the training, SEOF will assist successful candidates with takeoff grants to start business in their chosen field. SEOF has set aside N10million for this purpose.
It is the belief and hope of the founder of SEOF, Sir Emeka Offor that those who will benefit from this programme will not just be useful to themselves and their families but to the society at large. It is another effort in the quest to mitigate the scourge of unemployment bedeviling our nation.
